Could the truth have prevented the tragedy from ever happening?

During their drive to France – meant to give rest and perspective on their life in London – newlyweds Bea and Dan soon find themselves amid a new bizarre situation. Bea’s brother, Alex, manages a hotel in the countryside, only it’s no ordinary hotel and Alex is no ordinary hotel manager. The situation is further complicated by the arrival of Alex and Bea’s wealthy parents. Dan is trying to fit in and is having a hard time understanding Bea’s relationship with her family. Something does not add up. Bea and Dan are caught in an absurd existence that is spiralling out of control.
